This course is a basic Blood Borne Pathogens created by American Health and Safety Institute. The course will only cover the very minimum level of information to meet the OSHA requirement for employees who are deemed at risk for coming into contact with contagious diseases by Blood Borne Pathogens. This course concludes with a written exam and all student who pass the written exam will be issued a HSI BBP card for proof of attendance.
This course is an in depth look at opium and the derivatives of opium called opioids throughout history. It covers historical context, addiction, pharmacology, and how to recognize and treat someone in an opioid overdose. This course continuously gets updated and rebuilt as treatments, technology and statistics change.
